La tradizione del luogo non mente, il contesto protegge molto i ragazzi ed i professori sono veri educatori. Unica pecca, che mi obbliga a togliere una stella alla valutazione, sono i parcheggi esterni troppo spesso "preda" dei vigili urbani.. Place where my three children have been studying for years. R	Roberto Sciarrone on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il collegio Rotondi nasce grazie al marchese Giovanni Andrea Terzaghi che dona nel suo testamento del 1599 alla congregazione degli Oblati diocesani il suo palazzo, alcuni terreni e la chiesetta di San Maurizio. Gli Oblati avrebbero dovuto celebrare quotidianamente una messa in suo suffragio e istruire i ragazzi di Gorla Minore. Nel 1629 ai corsi elementari si aggiunse l'insegnamento della grammatica, della filosofia e retorica. Nel 1710 la scuola divenne Imperiale Regio Collegio. Con l'arrivo di Napoleone l'ordine degli Oblati venne soppresso e i beni statalizzati. Il rettore, Giambattista Sioli e il suo vicerettore Giorgio Rotondi, impegnarono i propri beni personali per acquistare da "privati cittadini" il collegio. Alla morte di Sioli nel 1816, Rotondi divenne rettore. Con i beni del patrimonio familiare pagò i debiti acquisendo così la proprietà del collegio. Con il ritorno della Lombardia nel ben organizzato impero degli Asburgo, nel 1839 il Collegio ridivenne un'istituzione pubblica. Giorgio Rotondi morì nel 1841 e, in suo ricordo, il collegio porta ancora oggi il suo nome. The Rotondi college was born thanks to the Marquis Giovanni Andrea Terzaghi who donated his palace, some land and the church of San Maurizio to the congregation of the diocesan Oblates in his will of 1599. The Oblates should have celebrated a mass in his suffrage daily and instructed the children of Gorla Minore. In 1629 the teaching of grammar, philosophy and rhetoric was added to the elementary courses. In 1710 the school became the Imperial Regio Collegio. With the arrival of Napoleon the order of the Oblates was suppressed and the assets nationalized. The rector, Giambattista Sioli and his vice rector Giorgio Rotondi, pledged their personal assets to purchase the college from "private citizens". On Sioli's death in 1816, Rotondi became rector. With the assets of the family patrimony he paid the debts thus acquiring the property of the college. With the return of Lombardy to the well-organized Habsburg empire, in 1839 the College once again became a public institution. Giorgio Rotondi died in 1841 and, in his memory, the college still bears his name today.

Il personale, gli insegnanti, il rettore sono tutti molto disponibili. Lo stabile di pregio e' in continuo rinnovamento. Besides being an excellence in training, the college is also a guesthouse with rooms. The staff, the teachers, the rector are all very helpful. The prestigious building is constantly being renovated.

S	Salvatore Rolli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ottima scuola, con ampia offerta. È una scuola per tutti, no. Viene offerto tanto e ovviamente si paga in base alle scelte. Ne vale la pena? Assolutamente si. La scuola è improntata sulle lingue straniere, sull’educazione, sul saper vivere nella comunità e sul valorizzare o scoprire il proprio talento. Insegnanti giovani, molto preparati, tutti parlano bene l’inglese e molti parlano più lingue straniere. Ambiente dinamico. Madrelingua stranieri provenienti da diversi Paesi per far apprendere al meglio la lingua. Attività extra scolastiche per tutti i gusti. Grande capacità organizzativa, ampiamente dimostrata nell’affrontare la pandemia. Gli studenti dalla primaria alle superiori, non hanno perso neppure un giorno di scuola, nessuno è stato lasciato indietro ed è stato fatto un grandissimo lavoro per far vivere al meglio questa situazione difficile, soprattutto durante il lockdown. Ovviamente non tutto è perfetto, ma l’impegno da parte di tutti - rettore in primis - c’è e si vede costantemente. Excellent school, with a wide offer. It's a school for everyone, no. Young teachers, highly trained, all speak English well and many speak several foreign languages. Dynamic environment. Foreign native speakers from different countries to help you learn the language better. Extra-curricular activities for all tastes. Great organizational capacity, widely demonstrated in dealing with the pandemic. Students from primary to high school did not miss a single day of school, no one was left behind and a great deal of work was done to make the most of this difficult situation, especially during the lockdown. Obviously, not everything is perfect, but the commitment on the part of everyone - rector first of all - is there and it can be seen constantly.
