La chiesa non è niente di eccezionale, ma la grotta che si trova nella cripta, è molto suggestiva ed assomiglia a quella di Lourdes. Consiglio di entrare, specialmente nella cripta. It occupies one side of the Piazza del Popolo. The church is nothing exceptional, but the cave in the crypt is very impressive and resembles that of Lourdes. I recommend entering, especially in the crypt.

All'interno si possono vedere degli affreschi e cappelle a navata che lasciano stupefatti da tanta bellezza. Si paga un biglietto ma ne vale la pena Beautiful church located on a spur of rock and surrounded by walls from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the surrounding valley. Inside you can see frescoes and nave chapels that leave you amazed by such beauty. You pay a ticket but it's worth it

Colpisce il colore bianco utilizzato dovunque, dalle pareti al soffitto, che dona una particolare omogeneità all'insieme. Molto particolare ed originale la riproduzione in miniatura della grotta di Lourdes, risalente al 1920 e posta nella cripta, accanto ad un presepe meccanico napoletano. Un insieme che vale la visita. Difficile descrivere la facciata, appare come un mix di stili diversi che personalmente trovo poco gradevole. L’interno a tre navate con pianta a croce latina si contraddistingue per una alta cupola all’altezza del centro della croce (all’incrocio dei due bracci) e per l’abbondanza degli stucchi e delle decorazioni. In questa chiesa si conserva e viene venerata una ostia miracolosa la cui storia risale al 1273 anno nel quale è avvenuto un miracolo nella vicina Lanciano testimoniato da una pergamena dell’epoca. The church stands on an ancient oratory which was demolished to build the new church in the 18th century. Difficult to describe the facade, it appears as a mix of different styles that I personally find unpleasant. The interior with three naves with a Latin cross plan is characterized by a high dome at the height of the center of the cross (at the intersection of the two arms) and by the abundance of stuccoes and decorations. A miraculous host is preserved and venerated in this church, the history of which dates back to 1273, when a miracle took place in nearby Lanciano, testified by a parchment of the time.
G	Giuseppe Baldassarri on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Collegiate church stands on the spot where the Oratory of the Trinity (13th century) was located, as reported by Allevi in "A zonzo per Offida" and by Arduini in "Memorie Historiche of the city of Offida". The Oratory, with its statues and paintings, was demolished at the end of the century XVIII and in its place the new Collegiate Church was built, consecrated to Maria Assunta in heaven. Construction work began in 1785
