★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Colamartino è uno dei pochi esempi rimasti di vero esperto di ortofrutta. Non c'è un articolo, che sia frutta o verdura, che sia di stagione o fuori stagione, che sia italiano o importato che lui non ha in offerta tutti i giorni dell'anno.
E' un esemplare raro anche perchè sa spiegare le virtù di ogni specie e non si limita alle cose vissute in gioventù, quando stava crescenndo nella provincia Pugliese. Visitando il mercato all'ingrosso di BJologna almeno 3-4 volte la settimana arricchisce le sue conoscenze e le trasmette apertamente alla clientela. Non l'ho mai visto bluffare su un articolo come per esempio ho visto fare in un'altra occasione recentemente: sulla cassetta di uva palesemente normale avevano posto un cartello scritto che recitava: UVA S-SEMI". Un chiaro tentativo di vendere per senza semi un uva bianca normale della varietà Vittoria che tutti gloi addetti ai lavori sanno avere invece i semi. Colamartino non oeserebbe mai sporcare il suo nome con piccolezze di questo genere. Bisognerbbe dargli un premio!!

I've never seen him bluff on an article like I saw him do on another occasion recently: on the plainly plain grape box they had placed a written sign that read: GRAPE S-SEEDS. A clear attempt to sell for without seeds a normal white grape of the Vittoria variety, which all growers know have seeds instead. Colamartino would never dirty his name with such small things.
