Premetto che ero stato più volte nel locale quando la proprietà era "Polati", mi sono sempre trovato bene, punto d'incontro per i giovani della zona. Il paragone era senz'altro inevitabile. Esteticamente non c'è stato alcun cambiamento, neppure nelle divise, quasi sembra non aver mai cambiato gestione. Ordino un americano Martini, arriva dopo non troppo tempo nonostante fosse la prima loro serata. Già a prima vista mi preoccupa il colore, all'assaggio i timori si confermano: decisamente annacquato, al limite dell'insapore. I miei amici ordinano dei vini che dopo più di mezz'ora non arrivano, rieffettuiamo l'ordine. All'arrivo dell'ordinazione il cameriere, palesemente alla sua prima serata come l'unico altro collega ai tavoli, purtroppo non riesce a distinguere i vini nei calici e all'ordine mancano alcune delle cose ordinate. Ho trovato il titolare competente nel suggerirmi un'aperitivo alternativo al spritz zucca. Mi sono sempre trovata benissimo, brioches buonissime con un vasto assortimento, servizio d'asporto (anche di bevande calde) molto curato. I ragazzi sono gentilissimi. Dispiace leggere alcune recensioni (che comunque lasciano il tempo che trovano) di 1 stella solo per la musica alta, che in un locale così ci sta... forse si tratta di signore anziane ?. Oggi finalmente l'occasione di provare il Ristorantino per pranzo: veniamo accompagnati nelle accoglienti salette al primo piano, dove ci vengono serviti piatti buoni e sostanziosi, con particolari originali ma azzeccati (dal menù del giorno abbiamo gustato i rigatoni al burro di tartufo e speck, di secondo tagliata servita con rucola e crema di parmigiano ?). Una realtà che non sfigurerebbe in centro a Padova, ma allo stesso tempo ben integrata nel piacevole contesto del centro di Piazzola! Prezzi onesti.. Ovviamente consigliato;) Great for aperitifs and breakfasts !!
