★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Valle di Cadore è da sempre considerato un comune di passaggio verso i più famosi lidi Ampezzani o il meno sponsorizzato San Vito...ma vi assicuro che, oltre ad offrire natura, sentieri e boschi in egual misura, il vecchio borgo, attraversato da una strada romana, propone scorci di antiche vie, fontane storiche, tabià e ponti irrinunciabili.
L' Antelao, che incombe sulla stretta curva d'ingresso con le sue pendici, da sempre protegge i popolani e se anche la giornata fosse cupa, i colori, gli odori e il respiro aprono mente e occhi.
Se avrete la pazienza e il tempo percorrete la via fino all'antica Chiesa sul burrone del Boite, il fiume scava e la Parrocchiale di San Martino è incerta sul terreno, ed è un poco la situazione di questo paese in bilico tra storia e nuvole.
