Sorge sulla riva del fiume Enza, alla Rocca si accede passando da un bellissimo ingresso medievale sovrastato da un quattrocentesco torrione chiamato Torre dell'orologio. Di fronte al municipio all'interno del Borgo vi è il monumento "il Gigante Abbattuto" per commemorare la liberazione dal nazifascismo. Il paese gode di tutti i servizi necessari ad eccezione del servizio ospedaliero sito nella vicina Montecchio.
Municipality in the province of Reggio Emilia with about 6000 inhabitants. It stands on the bank of the Enza river, the Rocca is accessed by passing through a beautiful medieval entrance dominated by a fifteenth-century tower called the Clock Tower. In front of the town hall inside the Borgo there is the monument "the Giant shot down" to commemorate the liberation from Nazifascism. The town enjoys all the necessary services except for the hospital service located in nearby Montecchio.

The fortress (current town hall) and the open amphitheater in front of it are beautiful. Possibility of excursions on foot and / or by bike to the surrounding hills.
