Some of the staff were very rude. Not at the height of a "municipal employee". These should be the image of the city of Naples. Definitely mediocre.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ L'ospedale della Pace, oggi sede di uffici del comune di Napoli, è sito a pochi passi da Castel Capuano lungo il decumano maggiore, per la precisione in via Tribunali n°226. Si tratta di un antico palazzo nobiliare che, nel XV secolo, la regina Giovanna II donò al suo Gran Siniscalco (e amante) Sergianni Caracciolo. Nel 1587 fu acquistato dai Benemeriti di San Giovanni di Dio che convertirono la nobile dimora in un convento con annessa la chiesa e il Lazzaretto, in cui dare ricovero ai contagiati da epidemie.
Il Lazzaretto, lungo 60 metri, largo 10 ed alto 12, presenta un lungo ballatoio con balconate che percorrono interamente la sala e fu interamente affrescato da Giancinto Diano e Andrea Viola con scene della Vergine e i Santi dell’Ordine di San Giovanni di Dio.
Oggi, l'immenso salone del lazzaretto viene utilizzato per mostre e convegni.
Visita bella ed interessante.
The hospital of Peace, now home to the offices of the municipality of Naples, is located a few steps from Castel Capuano along the major decuman, to be precise in via Tribunali n ° 226. It is an ancient noble palace which, in the 15th century, Queen Giovanna II gave to her Grand Seneschal (and lover) Sergianni Caracciolo. In 1587 it was purchased by the Benemeriti di San Giovanni di Dio who converted the noble residence into a convent with an adjoining church and the Lazzaretto, in which to shelter those infected by epidemics.
The Lazzaretto, 60 meters long, 10 wide and 12 high, has a long balcony with balconies that run throughout the room and was entirely frescoed by Giancinto Diano and Andrea Viola with scenes of the Virgin and the Saints of the Order of St. John of God.
Today, the immense hall of the hospital is used for exhibitions and conferences.
Beautiful and interesting visit.
