★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The scale (see the human in the photo) and extraordinary reproduction of the carnival floats is staggering. One is free to watch the papier-mache master teams at work in their huge aircraft like hangars. Then visit the museum telling the history of the carnival from its beginning circa 1870 with drawings, artwork and scale models of prize winning floats. We were shown around by a student on placement with exceptional English. Workshop area flat and easily accessible if disabled as are toilets. 3 Euro museum entrance - a bargain. (No cafe). One of those discoveries that stays with you long after the visit.
