★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La nuova Gibbellina ...sorta lontano dal vecchio insediamento distrutto dal terremoto del 1968........sicuramente aliena con la tradizione urbane dei paesi del trapanese........ma le numerosissime opere d arte disseminate all' interno del nucleo urbano......vale sicuramente una visita
The new Gibbellina ... built far from the old settlement destroyed by the 1968 earthquake ........ certainly alien to the urban tradition of the Trapani villages ........ but the numerous works of art scattered throughout inside the urban core ...... it is definitely worth a visit

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ L'installazione di Pietro Consagra, utilizzata per la rappresentazione teatrale di Oedipus Rex del 1988 presso i ruderi di Gibellina, completa degnamente l'atmosfera surreale della splendida Piazza del Municipio dove troneggia la Torre Civica di Alessandro Mendini, chiudendola a nord: quasi un recinto per proteggerne l'incanto.....
The installation by Pietro Consagra, used for the theatrical performance of Oedipus Rex from 1988 at the ruins of Gibellina, worthily completes the surreal atmosphere of the splendid Piazza del Municipio where Alessandro Mendini's Civic Tower dominates, closing it to the north: almost a fence to protect the charm .....
