★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Piccola ed accogliente sala cinematografica, unica rimasta nel centro urbano di Ragusa.
Si segnala per una programmazione di qualità attenta ai gusti del pubblico più esigente. In particolare il giovedì si tiene una rassegna di cinema d'essai a cura dell'associazione Fitzcarraldo e nel corso della stagione vengono programmati incontri con attori e registi. Oramai un punto di riferimento imprescindibile nel panorama culturale della città.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una cinema cittadino raccolto e accogliente. I gestori sono cordiali, attenti, simpatici. La sala è pulita ben riscaldata e la programmazione è di buon livello. Ospita una rassegna di cinema d'essai (cineclub Fitzcarraldo) di giovedì.
A cozy and welcoming city cinema. The managers are friendly, attentive, nice. The room is clean well heated and the programming is of a good standard. It hosts a review of arthouse cinema (Fitzcarraldo cineclub) on Thursday.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ottima la programmazione. Accogliente la sala. Purtroppo per i frequentatori anziani e con qualche problema di deambulazione (siamo tanti) la scala che porta dall'esterno alla biglietteria è piuttosto pericolosa.Non si potrebbe creare un ingresso alternativo?
Dalla risposta a questa mia recensione mi accorgo di non essere stata chiara. Non mi riferivo alla scala esterna, che è comoda e allo scivolo che lo è altrettanto ,ma alla ripida scala a cui si accede dalla porta d'ingresso.
Tenere ferma la porta e contemporaneamente appoggiarsi al corrimano per non cadere è un po' problematico per chi ha problemi di deambulazione.
Excellent programming. Cozy room. Unfortunately for elderly visitors and with some walking problems (we are many) the staircase leading from the outside to the ticket office is rather dangerous. Couldn't an alternative entrance be created?
From the answer to this review of mine I realize that I have not been clear. I was not referring to the external staircase, which is comfortable and to the slide which is equally, but to the steep staircase which is accessed from the front door.
Keeping the door steady and at the same time leaning on the handrail so as not to fall is a bit problematic for those with walking problems.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il Lumiere è uno di quei posti magici che conservano ancora il fascino del cinema. Al Lumiere vai a vedere il film d'autore e ti fermi a chiacchierare con i proprietari scambiando opinioni sulla pellicola. La sala non offre di certo la tecnologia di ultima generazione, ma personalmente preferisco l'atmosfera suggestiva del buon vecchio cinema per gustare quei titoli degni di nota da ricordare.
Il Lumiere is one of those magical places that still retain the charm of cinema. At the Lumiere you go to see the arthouse film and stop to chat with the owners exchanging opinions on the film. The room certainly does not offer the latest technology, but personally I prefer the evocative atmosphere of the good old cinema to enjoy those noteworthy titles to remember.
