Per contesto, ho molti capelli e molto ricci. Ah, e ancora per contesto, in genere ricevono complimenti e non lamentele. Il disagio provato quando il cassiere mi ha domandato di cambiare l'acconciatura che avevo ieri sera, con insisistenza, mi ha fatto venire voglia di tornare a casa. L'arroganza con la quale una persona si sia permessa di invadere la sfera personale di un cliente mi ha fatto venire voglia di non tornare mai più in un cinema che mi ha visto crescere, un luogo che ho frequentato e che ho amato per anni. 5 stelle al cinema, e 5 stelle alla gentile collaboratrice del cassiere che ha preso le mie parti in una situazione di profondo disagio. Per lei, signor cassiere, spero che se mai dovesse leggere queste parole possa fermarsi a riflettere e imparare un po' di buoni modi. Ha reso un luogo accogliente incredibilmente inospitale. Ha avuto la pretesa di giudicare il mio comportamento come irrispettoso nei confronti della comunità di spettatori, quando mi ritengo la prima a fare due passi indietro per il bene delle persone intorno a me. L'acconciatura, però, non è dominio della comunità. L'acconciatura sono io. Never in 23 years of my life have I been asked to change the way I hold my hair so as not to annoy the people behind me while watching a movie. For context, I have a lot of hair and very curly. Ah, and again for context, they generally get compliments and not complaints. The discomfort I felt when the cashier asked me to change the hairstyle I had last night, insistently, made me want to go home. The arrogance with which a person allowed himself to invade a client's personal sphere made me want to never go back to a cinema that has seen me grow up, a place I have frequented and loved for years. 5 stars in the cinema, and 5 stars to the kind assistant of the cashier who took my side in a situation of profound discomfort. For you, Mr. Cashier, I hope that if you ever read these words you can stop and think and learn some good ways. It made a cozy place incredibly inhospitable. She has pretended to judge my behavior as disrespectful to the community of spectators, when I consider myself the first to take two steps back for the good of the people around me. However, hairdressing is not the domain of the community. The hairstyle is me.
