Può contenere 600 spettatori, 400 in platea e 200 in galleria. Qui ha recitato anche il mitico Gilberto Govi in una delle sue inimitabili commedie in dialetto genovese. Nel teatro é conservato un baule con i costumi originiali di Govi e della moglie. In queste settimane ho calcalto il palcoscenico del Verdi assieme agli amici della Compagnia Goliardica Mario Baistrocchi in scena con "Su e giù per le Scale". Esperienza bellissima ed unica. L' augurio che il Teatro possa continuare la sua storica attività, visto che, sino ad oggi gli appelli per salvare un Teatro che fa parte della storia di Genova é rimasto inascoltato dalle amministrazioni del Comune e della Regione Liguria.

The wish that the theater can continue its historic activity, given that, until now, the appeals to save a theater that is part of the history of Genoa has remained unheard by the administrations of the Municipality and the Liguria Region.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uno dei pochi teatri che potrebbe avere un bacino di utenza enorme ma che viene gestito da una persona instabile con zero propensione al rapporto con il cliente, maleducato, ignorante. Non capisco come la proprietà possa consentire questo scempio... Evidentemente non è interessata al futuro di questa struttura.
One of the few theaters that could have a huge catchment area but which is managed by an unstable person with zero propensity for the relationship with the customer, rude, ignorant. I do not understand how the property can allow this destruction ... Evidently it is not interested in the future of this structure.
