B	Barbara Solmi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cinema storico di Modena, proiezioni di film " di nicchia", outsider fin dagli anni 80, come i film quasi teatrali di P. Greenaway , che divenne famoso all'inizio degli anni 90 con il film " Giochi nell'Acqua" . All' esterno del cinema c'e' un piccolo parcheggio ed un punto ristoro, bar ( anche con sedie e tavoli esterni). Inoltre entrando nel bar, sul corridoio a sinistra, c'e' anche una piccola mensa, aperta tutti giorni a pranzo e a cena, dal lunedì al sabato. La Cucina e' casalinga, porzioni abbondanti , ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, ( esempio : un primo piatto, contorno, mezza di acqua, €7.50) il venerdì, c'e' anche un menù a base di pesce . Ottima la pulizia. Contesto semplice , senza pretese, ma con il suo fascino retro', idem per il cinema e il bar. Greenaway, who became famous in the early 90s with the film "Giochi nell'Acqua". Outside the cinema there is a small car park and a refreshment point, bar (also with outdoor chairs and tables). Furthermore, entering the bar, on the left aisle, there is also a small canteen, open every day for lunch and dinner, from Monday to Saturday. The kitchen is homemade, large portions, excellent value for money, (example: a first course, side dish, half of water, € 7.50) on Fridays, there is also a fish-based menu. Excellent cleaning. Simple context, unpretentious, but with its retro charm, ditto for the cinema and the bar. Vote 8

Già trovo abbastanza imbarazzante che nel 2021 un cinema (per quanto a sala singola) non riesca ad attivare un servizio di prenotazione online dei posti. Tale mancanza, che sarebbe comunque scusabile in tempi normali, diventa incomprensibile (e, a quanto mi risulta, illegale) in periodo di restrizioni sanitarie. Il quadro si completa aggiungendovi la scortesia e la totale disorganizzazione del personale, il quale ha staccato biglietti non numerati, permettendo la libera scelta dei posti, salvo poi intervenire maldestramente laddove si fossero create situazioni di palese assembramento. Bad experience. I already find it quite embarrassing that in 2021 a cinema (albeit a single room) will not be able to activate an online seat reservation service. This lack, which would in any case be excusable in normal times, becomes incomprehensible (and, to my knowledge, illegal) in a period of health restrictions. The picture is completed by adding the rudeness and total disorganization of the staff, who have taken out unnumbered tickets, allowing the free choice of seats, only to then clumsily intervene where situations of obvious crowding have arisen.

Lo consiglio, per tutte quelle volte che vorresti restare sul divano di casa, ma senti la necessità del grande schermo. The real cinema, like "those of the past". Excellent programming. Wonderful staff. I recommend it, for all those times you would like to stay on the sofa at home, but feel the need for the big screen.

Comode le poltrone e buono il distanziamento delle file. Un po' ristretti invece gli spazi dell'atrio di ingresso con annessa biglietteria, dove, per le proiezioni di maggior affluenza, è facile si crei qualche affollamento, anche perché non è possibile prenotare online, una scelta non comprensibile in generale ed ancor più in tempi di pandemia. Ottimi comunque sia lo schermo che l'audio in sala, per un'esperienza complessivamente molto coinvolgente. Consisting of a small rectangular room (about 300 seats), the Cinema Film Studio 7b is characterized by a rich program of arthouse films, film reviews and 'niche' films. Comfortable armchairs and good row spacing. On the other hand, the spaces of the entrance hall with an adjoining ticket office are somewhat restricted, where, for the most popular screenings, it is easy to create some crowding, also because it is not possible to book online, a choice not understandable in general and even more in pandemic times. However, both the screen and the audio in the room are excellent, for an overall very engaging experience.

It is small, old fashioned, not crowded and, most importantly, the people that go there are polite. No talking, no mobiles etc. This is very valuable to me and it is a feature I find only on few cinemas. The only downside: no popcorn, no drinks.

Art cinema. I feel that Italian dubbing is going worse and worse and I would like more movies with original voices. Nearby you have railroad canteen and bar, which I also recommend. It's a pity that the zone has become so unsafe.
