Entrando sulla sinistra si può visitare l'Ossario Militare dedicato ai caduti bresciani della 1ª Guerra Mondiale, costruito negli anni '20 è uno dei più grandi edifici funebri cimiteriali. Proseguendo si può visitare la Cappella di San Michele, il grande faro posto nel centro del camposanto, che illumina la via dei defunti verso l'aldilà, e custodisce nel suo basamento la tomba del Vantini; oltre il faro c'è la tomba piramidale del Beato Giovanbattista Bossini, la Cappella del Municipio, ed il Pantheon. The Vantiniano Cemetery is the oldest Italian monumental cemetery, it is a mandatory stop if you are doing a sightseeing tour of the city. Entering on the left you can visit the Military Ossuary dedicated to the Brescia soldiers of the 1st World War, built in the 1920s, it is one of the largest funeral cemetery buildings. Continuing you can visit the Chapel of San Michele, the large lighthouse located in the center of the cemetery, which illuminates the path of the dead towards the afterlife, and houses the tomb of Vantini in its base; beyond the lighthouse there is the pyramidal tomb of Blessed Giovanbattista Bossini, the Town Hall Chapel, and the Pantheon.

Il pericolo di rimanere chiusi dentro è più concreto di quanto si possa immaginare, ma è sempre un'enorme emozione tentare di capire come uscire da un cimitero fra le fredde tenebre di dicembre. Che sia per tumulare una bara, piangere un caro passato a miglior vita o farsi un selfie con Gesù questo posto non delude. L'inesorabilità della morte non è mai stata così facile da accettare! The best place in Brescia. The statues are many and exceptionally suitable for having fun shots. The danger of being locked inside is more concrete than one might imagine, but it is always a huge thrill to try to figure out how to get out of a cemetery in the cold darkness of December.
