★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All'ombra delle ampie chiome dei pini mediterranei riposano, sotto un mare di croci di pietra, ca. 27,500 soldati perlopiù giovani, caduti nell'orrore della battaglia, lontani dalle loro famiglie come la maggior parte dei Caduti della Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Tanto tempo fa. Le molte bandiere sventolano per i vivi; per i morti ora c'è solo quiete, pace, il silenzio austero e curato, il raccoglimento nella memoria.
In the shade of the large crowns of Mediterranean pines rest, under a sea of stone crosses, approx. 27,500 mostly young soldiers, fallen in the horror of battle, far from their families like most of the Fallen of the Second World War. - Aperto tutti i giorni da lunedì a domenica dalle 8 del mattino alle 5 del pomeriggio.
- Ha un parcheggio dedicato ai visitatori.
- Ingresso libero e gratuito, si può lasciare un'offerta se lo si desidera.
- Facilissimo da raggiungere: praticamente è sulla Pontina. Ha un'uscita proprio davanti, quindi quando la prendete iniziate già a rallentare altrimenti perdete l'entrata al cimitero che è immediatamente sulla destra (ci sono le indicazioni ma arrivando ad alta velocità c'è il rischio di perdersele e andare troppo avanti).
- Appena varcato il cancello in auto si può usare il parcheggio dedicato. Sulla destra c'è un sentiero che sale al vero ingresso del cimitero. Saranno non più di 200 metri.
- Consiglio di fermarsi all'ingresso, una piccola costruzione coperta dove possono essere lette informazioni interessanti su come è nato questo cimitero militare.
- Se cercate una persona in particolare potete consultare i libri presenti qui.
- Potete anche prendere delle brochure o delle cartoline, possibilmente lasciando un'offerta. Quando sono andata non c'era nessuno, le offerte sono lasciate al buon cuore dei visitatori.
- Sempre all'ingresso, sul lato sinistro, ci sono i bagni.
- All'interno del camposanto sono presenti alcune panchine dove si può sostare all'ombra dei pini.
- In fondo c'è il monumento.
- Come tutti i cimiteri è un luogo di pace e raccoglimento. Ricordate di silenziare i telefoni e di portare il massimo rispetto in ogni momento della visita

It has an exit right in front, so when you take it you already start to slow down otherwise you lose the entrance to the cemetery which is immediately on the right (there are signs but arriving at high speed there is the risk of getting lost and going too far).
- As soon as you enter the gate by car you can use the dedicated parking. On the right there is a path that goes up to the real entrance of the cemetery. They will be no more than 200 meters.
- I recommend stopping at the entrance, a small covered building where you can read interesting information about how this military cemetery was born.
- If you are looking for a particular person, you can consult the books here.
- You can also take brochures or postcards, possibly by leaving an offer. When I went there was no one, the offers are left to the good heart of the visitors.
- Also at the entrance, on the left side, there are the bathrooms.
- Inside the cemetery there are some benches where you can stop in the shade of the pines.
- At the bottom is the monument.
- Like all cemeteries it is a place of peace and meditation. Remember to mute the phones and show the utmost respect at all times of your visit
