★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cimitero ben tenuto che ho visitato per la prima volta, pur essendo residente nell'Alto Lario. Mi sono aggirata tra tante tombe dalle quali si poteva ammirare una bella vista lago. Mi sono soffermata in particolare davanti ad alcune delle più antiche, vere e proprie opere di arte funerararia.
Poi c'è stato da parte mia il dovuto e rispettoso saluto a tutti i defunti, a prescindere dalla tipologia delle loro tombe. Il mio spirito religioso e il mio modo di pensare, ben espresso da Antonio De Curtis (Totò) nella poesia "'A livella", mi lasciano sempre un po' amareggiata nel vedere tante differenze anche in una di queste ultime residenze di un essere umano: vorrei vedere tombe tutte uguali perché almeno la morte appaia come la fine di tante inutili vanità terrene.
Well-kept cemetery that I visited for the first time, despite being resident in the Alto Lario. I wandered among many tombs from which you could admire a beautiful lake view. I paused in particular in front of some of the most ancient, real works of funerary art.
Then there was on my part the due and respectful greeting to all the dead, regardless of the type of their graves. My religious spirit and my way of thinking, well expressed by Antonio De Curtis (Totò) in the poem "'A livella", always leave me a little bitter in seeing so many differences even in one of these last residences of a human being : I would like to see tombs all the same so that at least death appears as the end of so many useless earthly vanities.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well-kept cemetery that I visited well touring the lake Como area. I wandered among many tombs from which you could admire a beautiful view of lake Como as well as a waterfall. I paused in front of some of the most ancient, real works of funerary art.
This is one of the most incredible cemeteries I have ever seen if not the most incredible.
