★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Le foto parlano chiaro: Cibiana è un piccolo paesino, delizioso, facilmente raggiungibile con una deviazione tra Venas e Vodo di Cadore (la stessa deviazione che permette di raggiungere, più avanti, il Messner Mountain Museum). A parte le classiche caratteristiche dei paesini di montagna incastonati in paesaggi da sogno, Cibiana non meriterebbe una sosta prolungata se non fosse per la straordinaria caratteristica di essere una delle più ricche "esposizioni pubbliche" al mondo di splendidi murales. La tradizione, ormai consolidata, vuole infatti che molti artisti che hanno alloggiato a Cibiana abbiano voluto lasciare un segno di gratitudine per l'ospitalità ricevuta, dipingendo un murales sulle pareti delle case del paese. Ne è scaturita una splendida raccolta di decine e decine di opere liberamente e facilmente accessibili semplicemente passeggiando per le stradine del paese. Uno spettacolo davvero indimenticabile e che vale senz'altro la pena di una sosta anche prolungata
The photos speak for themselves: Cibiana is a small, delightful village, easily reachable with a detour between Venas and Vodo di Cadore (the same detour that allows you to reach the Messner Mountain Museum later on). Apart from the classic characteristics of mountain villages set in dreamlike landscapes, Cibiana would not deserve a prolonged stop if it were not for the extraordinary characteristic of being one of the richest "public exhibitions" in the world of splendid murals. The well-established tradition, in fact, has it that many artists who stayed in Cibiana wanted to leave a sign of gratitude for the hospitality received, by painting a mural on the walls of the houses in the town. The result was a splendid collection of dozens and dozens of works that are freely and easily accessible simply by walking through the streets of the town. A truly unforgettable sight that is certainly worth a long stop
