F	Francesco Franco on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Più che fantastico , nel posto si respira fede e misticità, per il fatto che una nobildonna nel 500 DC , si è portata per fede in seguito ad un sogno, dal lontano Portogallo, fino a San Prisco CE, e facendo scavare sotto ad un pozzo, riesumava le Sacre reliquie di San Prisco, decidendo di restare per sempre in quei luoghi, diventando la Santa Matrona. Oggi 25 gennaio ricorre la sua festa, e le stradine che portano alla chiesa sono corredate di stand con addobbi di leccornie. Tra cui la mela cotta e zuccherata con ogni varietà di cioccolata. Oggi causa covid non c'è molta affluenza ma negli anni scorsi molti fedeli venivano da ogni luogo con mezzi propri o con pullman organizzati in onore della Santa. Church known above all for the feast of Santa Matrona, which is celebrated on January 25th. Today due to covid there is not much turnout but in recent years many faithful came from all over the place with their own means or with buses organized in honor of the Saint.

Non sono del luogo ma solitamente le chiese dovrebbero essere sempre aperte. Dal punto di vista estetico, molto semplice. Il campanile è distintivo, credo di un'epoca storica antecedente al XVII secolo. In molti casi la storia si perde nel dimenticatoio, e trovare la sua genesi sarà ardua se non sono riuscito a trovare nulla sul web (a parte Wikipedia). Le foto sono ingiallite perché scattare da smartphone e quindi impossibile rappresentarne la vera gamma tonale. I was unable to see inside the facility. I've only been there a few times in the morning but strangely it's always closed. They are not local but churches should usually always be open. From an aesthetic point of view, very simple. The bell tower is distinctive, I believe it dates back to an historical period prior to the seventeenth century. In many cases, history is lost in oblivion, and finding its genesis will be difficult if I have not been able to find anything on the web (apart from Wikipedia). The photos are yellowed because taking from a smartphone and therefore impossible to represent the true tonal range.
