Beautiful church, also in Sorico nice walking path up and behind a nice route through wooded part to the start of the village. Not too heavy, but beautiful nature.

The construction of the Church, built on a previous one of Romanesque origin, dates back to 1443, but was completely rebuilt, in its present form, in 1705 by Count Giorgio Giulini. Located on Via Regina, in the center of Sorico, the Church, dedicated to Santo Stefano, has an eighteenth-century façade with a fresco depicting "The Glory of Saint Stephen". And 'it preceded by a garden place at the lower level of the road surface. The bell tower was built in the fifteenth century. I'm not able to describe the inside as the church was closed.

It's a church. Seriously. It's like a house, but instead of having a bunch of frat boys or old grumpy grad parents inside, it houses God almighty. At least according to the bible, but then again, every Atom houses God almighty. So since God's presence was nothing exclusive, they were forced to design the church beautifully to make it stand out. Is it worth to book a first class ticket from Sidney to here? Probably, if you really like churches with bells that have Santo Stefano's name attached to it.
