La facciata è divisa da quattro lesene con capitelli corinzi presenta un ampio portale in pietra sormontato da una finestra con vetri policromi e da una decorazione in gesso che riporta la scritta "Charitas". All'esterno dell'edificio c'è una statua bronzea del taumaturgo calabrese scolpita nel 1894.
L'interno
A navata unica fu affrescato agli inizi del Novecento per mano dell'artista calabrese Felice Fiore.
Tra le opere conservate al suo interno ricordiamo due statue di San Francesco (di cui una in stile barocco) e l'affresco settecentesco "San Francesco che accoglie il popolo di Luzzi", che rappresenta il Santo mentre accoglie sotto il proprio mantello il sindaco nell'atto di consegnargli le chiavi della città e i rappresentanti del popolo luzzese ritratti con il loro abito tipico.
The outside
The façade is divided by four pilasters with Corinthian capitals and has a large stone portal surmounted by a window with polychrome glass and a plaster decoration bearing the inscription "Charitas". Outside the building there is a bronze statue of the Calabrese thaumaturg sculpted in 1894.
The interior
A single nave was frescoed at the beginning of the twentieth century by the Calabrian artist Felice Fiore.
Among the works preserved inside it we remember two statues of San Francesco (one of which in Baroque style) and the eighteenth-century fresco "Saint Francis that welcomes the people of Luzzi", which represents the Saint while he welcomes the mayor under his cloak. 'act of giving him the keys of the city and the representatives of the Luzzese people portrayed with their typical dress.
