P	Piera Actis Giorgetto on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiesa la cui prima costruzione (962 _ 1031) venne iniziata da s. Guglielmo da Volpiano alla cui influenza si deve lo stile semigotico che la caratterizza. Nell'anno 1857 viene ricostruita e consacrata nel 1880. Nel suo interno vi sono tre navate, l'altare maggiore è in stile barocco, vi sono quadri del Morgari, del Reffo ed uno della scuola del Defendente Ferrari. A fianco, recentemente restaurato, si trova il campanile in stile bizantino. Vale una visita e soprattutto per una sosta per lo spirito. Church whose first construction (962_1031) was started by s. Guglielmo da Volpiano whose influence is due to the semi-Gothic style that characterizes it. In 1857 it was rebuilt and consecrated in 1880. Inside there are three naves, the high altar is in Baroque style, there are paintings by Morgari, Reffo and one of the school of the Defendente Ferrari. Beside, recently restored, is the Byzantine style bell tower. Worth a visit and especially for a stop for the spirit.

Da notare l'organo a vere canne che ti strugge l'anima e ti eleva lo spirito. Stupenda la statua della Maria...da vedere e , in silenzio, pregare. Fate vobis. Beautiful church, closed for most of the day, however some waiting is worth it. Note the organ with real canes that melts your soul and elevates your spirit. Superb statue of Mary ... to see and, in silence, pray. Make vobis.
