E	Ele Paderi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maestosa chiesa in stile neoclassico, posta a ridosso del naviglio ed alle porte del centro cittadino. Assolutamente da non perdere, di solito aperta in orario mattutino e serale per le messe. Venne costruita agli inizi del XIX, su un precedente sito medievale, per volere del signore di Gorgonzola, il duca Gian Galeazzo Serbelloni. Fu nominato responsabile del progetto l'architetto Simone Cantoni, artefice già del Palazzo Serbelloni di Milano. La chiesa è ad unica navata a croce latina, con colonne e capitelli corinzi. Nei bracci della croce vi sono le due cappelle maggiori, della Madonna del Rosario e quella del crocefisso, in quest'ultima è posto il Crocefisso ligneo, presente nella precedente chiesa andata demolita. La struttura è simmetrica eccetto per il Mausoleo Serbelloni, posto vicino all'ingresso alla chiesa. Majestic church in neoclassical style, located near the canal and at the gates of the city center. It was built at the beginning of the 19th century, on a previous medieval site, at the behest of the lord of Gorgonzola, the duke Gian Galeazzo Serbelloni. Architect Simone Cantoni, the former architect of the Palazzo Serbelloni in Milan, was appointed as the project manager. The church has a single nave with a Latin cross, with Corinthian columns and capitals. In the arms of the cross there are the two main chapels, of the Madonna del Rosario and that of the crucifix, in the latter there is the wooden Crucifix, present in the previous church that was demolished. The structure is symmetrical except for the Mausoleo Serbelloni, located near the entrance to the church.

Voluta dai Conti Serbelloni. Merita di essere visitata da soli o con una guida che ogni tanto organizza delle visite guidate. Nella chiesa cristiana cattolica esiste ancora qualcuno che sappia il significato di chiesa, di cristiano, di carità cristiana, del conforto degli oppressi, di accoglienza, di solidarietà, di valori umani fondamentali come la libertà, il libero pensiero, il libero arbitrio? Per questi motivi apprezzo sempre di più la religione e i monaci buddisti che conoscono da millenni cosa significano gentilezza e compassione verso tutte le creature. Si affaccia sulla Martesana e rende stupenda la zona. Church kept very well internally and externally. Cleanliness and order are the key words, very bright and well heated. It overlooks the Martesana and makes the area beautiful.
