Because you feel peaceful, the priests are welcoming and the parish priest helps you when the needs in the family, of anything, this is comforting, for those in need, of any help.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una parrocchia che mi piace molto, si trova nel quartiere Gianicolense, istituita nel 1942. Il progetto architettonico della chiesa è stato di Tullio Rossi. Va ricordata la visita di papa Giovanni Paolo nel 1989.
A parish that I really like is located in the Gianicolense district, established in 1942. The architectural design of the church was by Tullio Rossi. Pope John Paul's visit in 1989 should be remembered.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Era una parrocchia molto dinamica la Domenica la chiesa era piena.Qui negli anni '67-70 si faceva musica beat.Il sacerdote era don Francesco. I gruppi di discussione erano sempre pieni e nel cinema contiguo si faceva il cineforum L'oratorio era sempre aperto. Oggi ritrovo la bacheca dei matrimoni vuota
It was a very dynamic parish. On Sunday the church was full. Here in the '67 -70s there was beat music. The priest was Don Francesco. The discussion groups were always full and in the adjoining cinema there was a cineforum. The oratory was always open. Today I find the empty wedding bulletin board

This is one of Tullio Rossi's derivative Romanesque basilicas, entirely in white. It was put up in 1942. It's the nearest church to Trastevere train station, and has had problems with aggressive beggars.
