★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa di san Nicola è una delle chiese più antiche del comune di Torremaggiore. Molto particolare anche se a mio avviso non ha dipinti o affreschi di inestimabile valore, ma pare sia stata costruita intorno al XIII secolo appena dopo la distruzione di Fiorentino, quindi ha resistito anche al terremoto che distrusse l' intero comune e comuni limitrofi del 1627 cosi come riporta la storia del paese.
The church of San Nicola is one of the oldest churches in the municipality of Torremaggiore. Very particular although in my opinion it has no priceless paintings or frescoes, but it seems it was built around the thirteenth century just after the destruction of Fiorentino, so it also resisted the earthquake that destroyed the entire municipality and neighboring municipalities of 1627 as well as the history of the country reports.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tra le chiese più antiche della città, è seconda solo la cattedrale. Dedicata a San Nicola è ornata al suo interno di bellissimi stucchi e affreschi. Sede principale del culto di Santa Rita.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I dipinti sono(Battesimo di Gesù, Assunzione di Maria e Maria SS del Rosario) sono stupendi, la statua ottocentesca di San Giuseppe è bellissima, ma da restaurare, media fattura quelle di Santa Lucia e San Benedetto da Norcia. La statua dell' Immacolata ed di San Domenico Savio sono di bassa fattura. Imponente e stupendo è l'altare, con sotto le sedute del clero, che conserva una seicentesca statua di San Nicola, anch'esso di ottima fattura, come il grande crocifisso settecentesco nella cappella dedicato ed il crocifisso seicentesco vicino l'ambone.
The paintings are (Baptism of Jesus, Assumption of Mary and Maria SS del Rosario) are beautiful, the nineteenth-century statue of San Giuseppe is beautiful, but to be restored, medium workmanship those of Santa Lucia and San Benedetto da Norcia. The statue of the Immaculate Conception and San Domenico Savio are of low quality. Imposing and stupendous is the altar, under the seats of the clergy, which preserves a seventeenth-century statue of San Nicola, also of excellent workmanship, like the large eighteenth-century crucifix in the dedicated chapel and the seventeenth-century crucifix near the ambo.
