★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Suggestiva chiesetta immersa nel verde di una piccola pineta in mezzo ai campi, costruita nel XIII secolo come centro religioso del casale di Miggiano. Al suo interno, il palinsesto pittorico mostra la sua trasformazione da chiesa di rito bizantino (probabilmente dedicata a Santa Sofia, come suggerito dai toponimi rurali) a chiesa di rito cattolico, culminando con gli ormai maturi affreschi settecenteschi.
Suggestive little church immersed in the green of a small pine forest in the middle of the fields, built in the XIII century as a religious center of the hamlet of Miggiano. Inside, the pictorial schedule shows its transformation from a Byzantine rite church (probably dedicated to Hagia Sophia, as suggested by rural toponyms) to a Catholic rite church, culminating with the now mature eighteenth-century frescoes.
