Custodisce anche la statua della "Madonna della Stella" che viene festeggiata la seconda domenica di ottobre con una processione che porta i fedeli dal centro della cittadina fino al santuario posto ai limiti della Conca d'Oro, l'agro fertile della campagna di Palagiano.
