La festa è la prima domenica di Agosto per ricordare il miracolo del mare del 1763. La processione per le strade della città è la domenica mentre, quella al mare è il sabato. È possibile ammirare una bellissima infiorata nel quartiere vicino la Chiesa. Chiudono i festeggiamenti i giochi d'artificio sparati sull'acqua del mare. Come parrocchia è la più grande della città ed è possibile ammirare quadri di pregovole fattura opera di un artista locale che, raffigurano i momenti della Vita dei Santi. Da visitare.
The church of Santa Maria di Porto Salvo is located in the Porto Salvo district of the city of Santa Teresa di Riva.
