m	marcello mazzara on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Edificio collocato a ridosso del centro storico , presenta due ingressi ,uno realizzato nel dopoguerra,a seguito del pesante bombardamento alleato che distrusse la porta di accesso alla città medioevale di Evoli, e l'altro rifatto nel 700 in stile Barocca napoletano che si affaccia su una piazzetta incantevole al centro della quale e collocata una scalinata realizzata in pietra Ebolitana adornata ai lati da due riccioli di notevoli dimensioni......l'edificio é composto da due chiese una superiore dedicata a S. Giuseppe non visibile dall'esterno,e l'altro dedicatoba S. Maria,......all'interno uno stupendo gruppo scultoreo dedicato al compianto del Cristo morto.... merita una visita .... Building located close to the historic center, it has two entrances, one built in the post-war period, following the heavy allied bombing that destroyed the gateway to the medieval city of Evoli, and the other redone in the Neapolitan Baroque style that overlooks an enchanting square in the center of which is placed a staircase made of Ebolitana stone adorned on the sides by two large curls ...... the building consists of two churches, an upper one dedicated to St. Joseph not visible from the outside , and the other dedicated to S. Maria, ...... inside a wonderful sculptural group dedicated to the lamentation of the dead Christ .... worth a visit ....

L'ingresso principale è dal centro storico, quello da cui si accede con comodità è quello con le scale che da direttamente sulla piazza principale della città. Bellissima la statua della Madonna con il Cristo ed i segni della passione. Stupendo l'organo. Ottima l'acustica. A small chest at the entrance of the historic center of Eboli. The main entrance is from the old town, the one from which you access with comfort is the one with the stairs leading directly on the main square of the city. Beautiful the statue of the Madonna with the Christ and the signs of the passion. Superb organ. Excellent acoustics.
