I advise all sailors to visit it on August 14th and 15th on the occasion of the feast of San Rocco which takes place in the same church .. on the occasion of the aforementioned holiday there is a historic procession and the town is full of stall where to taste local delicacies
A	Alice Cassini on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È una chiesa stupenda e immensa,forse la piu' bella di tutta gioia.Lì si sono svolti moltissimi matrimoni in questi ultimi tempi proprio perché è abbastanza ampia da permettere la presenza di più persone di quanto ce ne sarebbero potute stare nelle altre.Le statue all' interno rispecchiano perfettamente la grandezza della fede,e i loro volti se guardati attentamente sembrano quasi reali. It is a beautiful and immense church, perhaps the most beautiful of all joy. There have been many weddings in recent times precisely because it is large enough to allow the presence of more people than there could have been in the others. inside they perfectly reflect the greatness of faith, and their faces if looked carefully they seem almost real.

L'interno è più semplice nell'architettura. Church in Neo-Gothic style. The exterior appears with its grandeur on the pedestrian Via Roma, the rose window stands out on the facade. The interior is simpler in architecture.

B	Beatrice Masci on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa di Santa Lucia era in origine una cappella rurale di rito greco, costruita nel secolo XVI. Distrutta nel 1885 dal terremoto, di questa cappella restano le fondazioni su cui si basa la casa canonica. La Chiesa, in stile gotico e su progetto dell'architetto Cristoforo Pinto, sita in via Roma, già via Stazione, viene costruita con i fondi del Comune e con le donazioni dei fedeli e di illustri cittadini tra cui la N.D.Annetta Savino e il signor Paolo Miraglino ed elevata a parrocchia nel 1919. Sulla facciata un enorme rosone a 16 petali che si snoda su un rosone più piccolo a 4 spicchi. Due campanili simmetrici ed un portone ligneo, opera dell'intagliatore gioiese Giuseppe Vinci, completano la facciata. Sulla porta sono rappresentati i 4 evangelisti ed alcuni momenti della vita della Santa. Una croce metallica fu posta a destra a ricordo delle Missioni dei Padri Passionisti. L'interno della chiesa ad una navata, ricalca lo stile gotico della facciata. The church of Santa Lucia was originally a rural chapel of the Greek rite, built in the 16th century. Destroyed in 1885 by the earthquake, the foundations on which the rectory is based remain of this chapel. The church, in Gothic style and designed by the architect Cristoforo Pinto, located in via Roma, formerly via Stazione, was built with funds from the Municipality and with donations from the faithful and illustrious citizens including the NDA Annetta Savino and Mr. Paolo Miraglino and elevated to a parish in 1919. On the facade a huge rose window with 16 petals that winds on a smaller rose window with 4 segments. Two symmetrical bell towers and a wooden door, the work of the Gioia carver Giuseppe Vinci, complete the facade. The 4 evangelists and some moments from the life of the Saint are represented on the door. A metal cross was placed on the right in memory of the Missions of the Passionist Fathers. The interior of the church with one nave follows the Gothic style of the facade.
