DescrizioneLa chiesa si presenta planimetricamente, come un impianto irregolare a tre navate, con coro terminale centrale e cappelle di fondo alle navate laterali. Analizzando la pianta emergono alcune particolarità, come la disposizione inclinata della facciata, rispetto all’asse longitudinale, ossia non ortogonale ad esso e la presenza di ampi setti di muratura che dividono le navate e che fa presupporre la costruzione, in tempi diversi, degli spazi. Il corpo centrale della chiesa con soffitto piano, più alto rispetto alle navatelle, è concluso da un ampio coro rettangolare, voltato a vela ed è separato dagli spazi laterali mediante tre arcate di diversa ampiezza. The central body of the church with a flat ceiling, higher than the aisles, is concluded by a large rectangular choir, vaulted and separated from the lateral spaces by three arches of different widths. The side naves are divided into three chapels, in addition to the back one, with rectangular or square plan geometries and covered by cross vaults.
