M	Marco Ravagnati on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sorge nel cuore della zona pedonale ed è facilmente visibile per la dimensione. Dall' esterno si intuisce che ha molti anni ma entrando sembra molto più recente. Forse i lucenti e policromi marmi e la buona manutenzione, oltre alla pulizia e all' ordine, la fanno apparire più contemporanea. È spaziosa ed ampia ma non risulta dispersiva anche per merito di opere d'arte collocate sapientemente. Anche la zona dove è ubicato l' altare è ampia ed armoniosa, ben amalgamata con tutta la struttura della chiesa. It stands in the heart of the pedestrian area and is easily visible due to its size. From the outside it is clear that it has many years but on entering it seems much more recent. Perhaps the shiny and polychrome marbles and good maintenance, in addition to cleanliness and order, make it appear more contemporary. It is spacious and wide but it does not appear to be dispersive also thanks to skilfully placed works of art. The area where the altar is located is also large and harmonious, well blended with the whole structure of the church.

Conosciuta per anni come collegiata, e successivamente grazie alla visita di s.s.Giovanni Paolo Il, Papa, negli anni 80 la nominò basilica minore. Nacque come fusione delle antecedenti chiese cittadine di San Vittore e Sant'Ambrogio, di cui rimangono nelle vicinanze, le strutture degli edifici sconsacrati e trasformati in abitazioni. Ha un grande organi ristrutturato qualche anno fa da maestri organari di Arcore, ed è composto da circa seimila canne suddiviso su tre balconate al di sopra del portone centrale. Il suo concerto è favoloso. L'interno è molto ampio e spazioso. Antistante il colonnato, vi è collocata la statua che i seregnesi hanno dedicato a s.s.Giovanni Paolo Il in occasione della sua visita. La basilica è raggiungibile lungo la passeggiata di corsi del Popolo, zona pedonale oppure utilizzando il parcheggio sotterraneo posto alle spalle di essa. È un luogo molto silenzioso per pregare e meditate. Merita una visita A sacred place in the middle of the pedestrian area of the city. It has a large organ renovated a few years ago by master organ builders from Arcore, and is made up of about six thousand pipes divided over three balconies above the central door. His concert is fabulous. The interior is very large and spacious. In front of the colonnade, there is the statue that the Seregnesi dedicated to St. John Paul II on the occasion of his visit. The basilica can be reached along the Corso del Popolo promenade, a pedestrian area or by using the underground parking behind it. It is a very quiet place to pray and meditate. Worth a visit

Parlando della chiesa, molto brutto il pulpito di stampo fascista che male si integra nel resto della chiesa. Starting from the fact that we were there for a bereavement, obviously the satisfaction was what it was.
