La struttura ha subito numerosi rifacimenti nel corso dei secoli, e ad oggi prevale un aspetto romanico conferitole nel XIII secolo, anche l'orientamento è stato ribaltato nel medesimo periodo. Accanto alla chiesa sorge un campanile in stile romanico lombardo.
The parish church of San Giovanni Battista is located in the village of Rosia, part of the Municipality of Sovicille, in the Province of Siena. The structure has undergone numerous renovations over the centuries, and to date a Romanesque aspect has prevailed in the 13th century, even the orientation has been reversed in the same period. Next to the church there is a bell tower in Lombard Romanesque style.
