★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Importante testimonianza del romanico abruzzese. La chiesa dedicata a Sant'Egidio è nominata nelle collette per la Diocesi dei Marsi, fin dal 1327, ma probabilmente, per alcuni elementi costruttivi, potrebbe risalire alla fine del secolo XIII.
Rimane il portale ogivale con eleganti colonne tortili e il rosone di sapore architettonico angioino.
Sul lato sinistro della chiesa, bei archi di scarico con tamponatura e finestrella monofora finemente lavorata.
Important testimony of the Abruzzo Romanesque. The church dedicated to Sant'Egidio has been mentioned in the collections for the Diocese of the Marsi, since 1327, but probably, for some constructive elements, it could date back to the end of the XIII century.
The ogival portal remains with elegant twisted columns and the rose window with an Angevin architectural flavor.
On the left side of the church, beautiful drain arches with infill and finely worked single-light window.
