Costruita verso la fine del Quattrocento, viene consacrata nel 1493 dall'arcivescovo di Rossano, G. Battista de' Lagni. La facciata si distingue per essere una delle poche affrescate in Calabria.
The church of the Carmine, or SS. Annunziata, stands next to the now ruined Carmelite convent, at the foot of the village, near the Margherita bridge. Built towards the end of the fifteenth century, it was consecrated in 1493 by the archbishop of Rossano, G. Battista de 'Lagni. The façade is distinguished by being one of the few frescoes in Calabria.
