Locale piccolo ma accogliente quando meno frequentato. Buona scelta per cibo d'asporto oppure per qualcosa di sfizioso in tempi compressi senza uscire dalle mura di Catanzaro. Peccato per la difficoltà nel reperire calzoni, che a Catanzaro sembrano merce rara nella maggior parte dei locali deputati alla loro produzione e vendita. Negli ultimi tempi il titolare ha fatto una ristrutturazione del locale rendendolo più accogliente, in più ha aggiunto una saletta dove si può consumare seduti la nostra ordinazione di cibo e bere in santa pace una birra. inoltre nella saletta c'è anche un grande televisore, non che io sentissi la necessità dell'ormai onnipresente elettrodomestico, ma se sei solo ti distrae. La qualità dei prodotti sembra notevolmente migliorata, la focaccia è croccante, calda e di buon sapore, mentre le polpette prese non mi hanno gran che convinto, anche se io sono molto esigente, soprattutto quando si tratta di qualcosa che appartiene alla tradizione, come appunto le polpette. E' sempre molto frequentato, quindi il ricambio di materia prima è garantito. Insomma un posticino che se hai voglia di street food o di uno spuntino veloce oppure solo voglia di bere una birra e mangiare un arancino puoi sederti e godere il tuo intermezzo in pace nella bolgia del traffico di via Indipendenza.
