★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Actually once the whole beach stretch, about 5 km, was a so called "naturista", it was just "Free beach" , meaning that you could wear, or not, anything you wanted, provided that your "freedom" wouldn't limitate other's. People would stay with swimsuits or half, or nothing and so' nude, naked. Now after a change in customs and people restarted to cover up, the "die hard" naturists have gated a piece of the beach for themselves to be "free" in what they wear.

Capocotta Beach,Lazio – This beach isn’t far from Rome, and there’s a dedicated nude beach section that’s about 250 meters long. The whole beach is part of an official nature reserve, and nudists have been baring everything on this beach for more than 30 years. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This has been my go to place in Rome for the last 15 years - never disappoints- great dishes fresh from the sea - great wines - great atmosphere - can’t please it enough. Whatever many things I hate about Rome this place is number 1 of what I love about it!
