★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissimo chiesino immerso nella Calvana.
Si trova sopra Casa Bastone spostato in direzione Poggio Castiglioni.
È raggiungibile dalla carrareccia che collega i Bifolchi (casa di Vieri) a Casa Bastone oppure dal sentiero che percorre il crinale della Calvana.
In sentiero è a tratti stretto e ripido ma mai difficile da percorrere.
Dal Chiesino e da altri punti del percorso si gode di un'ottima vista sulla piana.
Beautiful church immersed in Calvana.
It is located above Casa Bastone moved towards Poggio Castiglioni.
It can be reached from the cart road that connects the Bifolchi (house of Vieri) to Casa Bastone or from the path that runs along the ridge of Calvana.
On the trail it is sometimes narrow and steep but never difficult to travel.
From Chiesino and other points of the route you can enjoy an excellent view of the plain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Caratteristico della calvana, bei panorami, è bella la strada Se volete andare in mountain bike, motocross o con un fuoristrada, larga ma con le giuste difficoltà.
Se volete andare con un mezzo a due ruote, prestate attenzione a di pastori, che spesso lasciano i Greggi soli con i cani, nel caso vogliate fare questa scampagnata con un mezzo a due ruote Portatevi sempre degli amici, i cani da pastore sono pericolosi se non c'è il padrone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nella splendida cornice della calvana Pratese a mezza costa della balconata tra casa Bastoni e la vetta della retaia, sorge il chiesino di Cavagliano. Collocato in un anfiteatro naturale, tutti gli anni è protagonista della ormai consueta messa di Natale. Questa sera, stellata e senza vento e con una temperatura gradevole, ha accolto forse più di duecento persone. Ormai dal almeno 15 anni vengo su in quell'occasione ed è sempre un'esperienza fantastica in un atmosfera unica. Un ringraziamento alla VAB per l'eccellente organizzazione con la fiaccolata ed il ristoro con panettone e vin broule.
In the splendid setting of the Pratese calvana halfway up the balcony between the Bastoni house and the summit of the retaia, stands the church of Cavagliano. Located in a natural amphitheater, every year it is the protagonist of the now usual Christmas mass. This evening, starry and windless and with a pleasant temperature, it has welcomed perhaps more than two hundred people. For at least 15 years I have been coming up on that occasion and it is always a fantastic experience in a unique atmosphere. Thanks to VAB for the excellent organization with the torchlight procession and the refreshment with panettone and vin broule.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traversed up a feces riddled mountain for an hour with my son in hopes to offer prayers at the church to rid him of his crippling autism, unfortunately the door was locked and we were not able to enter the church.
