★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Antichissima chiesa, è la prima chiesa extramoenia rispetto il primo nucleo sorto intorno la Motta. A navata unica e abside sporgente, la chiesa di Sancti Ioannes detta di Johannaci in quanto eretta dalla famiglia, di origine greca. l'isolato della chiesa appare separato dal contesto urbano in quanto affiancato alla chiesa esisteva la casa della famiglia e un ospedale di mendicità.
La chiesa conserva una splendida decorazione ad affresco nel catino absidale.
An extremely ancient church, it is the first church outside of the first nucleus built around the Motta. With a single nave and protruding apse, the church of Sancti Ioannes known as Johannaci as it was built by the family, of Greek origin. the block of the church appears separate from the urban context as the family house and a begging hospital existed next to the church.
The church retains a splendid fresco decoration in the apse basin.
