Church dedicated to Saint Lucia, built in the 15th century. From the simple architecture, inside you can find valuable frescoes regarding the Enthroned Madonna.

Chiesa oder Chiesetta di Santa Lucia, uns sind beide Bezeichnungen begegnet. Schon die Anfahrt im alten Kern von Balbiana war interessant, viele kleine, enge Gassen, dann die kleine Kirche und ein kleiner Parkplatz. Die Kirche wirkt von außen sehr unscheinbar, ich denke sie wird nur von wenigen Touristen besucht. Sie war zu gesperrt, aber als wir Interesse zeigten, kam vom Nachbarhaus eine ältere Dame und hat uns die Türe aufgeschlossen. Innen haben mir die vielen Fresken sehr gut gefallen, sie sind zum größeren Teil erhalten.
It's been some time.
Chiesa or Chiesetta di Santa Lucia, we have come across both names. Even the approach in the old core of Balbiana was interesting, many small, narrow streets, then the small church and a small parking lot. The church looks very inconspicuous from the outside, I think it is only visited by a few tourists. It was locked, but when we showed interest, an elderly lady came from the neighboring house and opened the door for us. I really liked the many frescoes inside, most of them have been preserved.
