★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesetta di Santa Fosca risale almeno al 1427 e con questo nome è l'unica della diocesi di Gorizia.
Durante la prima guerra mondiale la chiesetta venne semidistrutta ma in seguito, grazie all'impegno degli uomini del paese, la chiesetta venne ricostruita ed inaugurata nel 1922, proprio nel giorno di Santa Fosca.
E' situata in una bellissima posizione da cui si gode di un ampio panorama verso il Collio ed il Carso.
Chi visita questa chiesa può approfittarne per visitare il colle con l'Ara Pacis e la chiesa di Sant'Antonio. Una visita la meritano anche i paesi di Medea e di Borgnano.
The church of Santa Fosca dates back to at least 1427 and with this name it is the only one in the diocese of Gorizia.
During the First World War the church was partially destroyed but later, thanks to the commitment of the men of the town, the church was rebuilt and inaugurated in 1922, on the day of Santa Fosca.
It is located in a beautiful position from which you can enjoy a wide view towards the Collio and the Carso.
Those who visit this church can take the opportunity to visit the hill with the Ara Pacis and the church of Sant'Antonio. The towns of Medea and Borgnano also deserve a visit.
