★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissimo sito culturale, chiesa romanica ben conservata nonostante lo stato di attuale abbandono. Mancanza di indicazioni segnaletiche e cartelli esplicativi della storia del luogo. Mi ricorda il castello del Conte Horlock in Nosferatu.
Beautiful cultural site, well preserved Romanesque church despite the current state of neglect. Lack of signs and signs explaining the history of the place. It reminds me of Count Horlock's castle in Nosferatu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiesa risalente al XIII Secolo in stile romanico-gotico, sita in un posto panoramico sulle colline di Andora, vicino al castello.
La vista è mozzafiato sulla Val Merula ed è anche teatro di un importante rassegna estiva di musica classica.
In ultimo, ma non meno importante, il sentiero di accesso con i tipici muri in pietra arricchiti da una ricca raccolta di famose poesie su lastre di pietra.
Church dating back to the 13th century in Romanesque-Gothic style, located in a panoramic spot on the hills of Andora, near the castle.
The view is breathtaking over the Val Merula and it is also the scene of an important summer festival of classical music.
Last but not least, the access path with the typical stone walls enriched by a rich collection of famous poems on stone slabs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Luogo sacro .. visibile in modo suggestivo già passando in autostrada .. si sale e lo si raggiunge da Andora camminando nell ultimo tratto accanto alle Pietre di Luna, le cosiddette pietre di ardesia su cui sono incise poesie di poeti più o meno noti.
Il sentiero si apre nella radura che ospita la chiesa con la torre e le vestigia del vecchio castello ( ovvero il vero nucleo originario di Andora ora in restauro )
Una occasione per due passi serali molto romantici
Sacred place .. visible in a suggestive way already passing on the motorway .. go up and reach it from Andora walking in the last stretch next to the Pietre di Luna, the so-called slate stones on which poems of more or less known poets are engraved.
The path opens into the clearing that houses the church with the tower and the vestiges of the old castle (that is the real original nucleus of Andora now under restoration)
An opportunity for two very romantic evening walks
