I am biased, having grown up nearby. L'interno conserva vari affreschi databili al XIII, XIV e XV secolo, riscoperti durante dei lavori di restauro. Sulle pareti, è stato rinvenuto un importante ciclo di affreschi risalenti al 1300/1400 - tra cui un’ultima cena e una crocifissione – di indubbio interesse anche come testimonianza dell’arte popolare di quei tempi. The small church of the "Madonnina di mezzo Campagna" rises in the middle of the countryside: built before the end of 1200, it consists of a single nave with a gabled façade and a trussed roof: the neglect of the years and some enlargement and elevation interventions operated over time, they have not altered the simplicity and linearity of the original structure. On the walls, an important cycle of frescoes dating back to 1300/1400 was found - including a Last Supper and a crucifixion - of undoubted interest also as a testimony of the popular art of those times.
