Il suo aspetto è lo stereotipo della chiesa altoatesina posizionata su di una piccola collinetta con un tetto a spiovente e il cimitero curatissimo tutt'attorno.
Gli interni sono in stile barocco ma non eccessivo.

Its appearance is the stereotype of the South Tyrolean church positioned on a small hill with a sloping roof and the well-kept cemetery all around.
The interior is in Baroque style but not excessive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sorge sopra la gola del fiume Rienza e vicino al castello di Rodengo.
Ha origini romaniche e attorno al 1500 fu sostituita da un edificio tardo gotico e nel corso degli anni modificato. L' ultima ristrutturazione risale al 1983.
Le sculture lignee dell'altare maggiore risalgono in parte a Adam Balduf (1616-1618).
Il cimitero e" ben curato e circonda la chiesa.
It rises above the gorge of the Rienza river and near the castle of Rodengo.
It has Romanesque origins and around 1500 was replaced by a late Gothic building and modified over the years. The last renovation dates back to 1983.
The wooden sculptures of the main altar date back in part to Adam Balduf (1616-1618).
The cemetery is well maintained and surrounds the church.

Charming little church that stands out on a small hill, which runs along the river Rienza, located at the extreme offshoot of Rodengo. Surrounded by greenery and silence, it is the backdrop to the small road that leads to the medieval castle of the village of the same name. To be seen.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rosa Kirche mit wuchtigem, hellgrauen Turm und dunkelgrauer Kirchturmspitze.
Auf dem Friedhof gibt es auch ein ganz besonderes Grab, derer zu Wolkenstein-Rodenegg.
Die Kirche war leider geschlossen. Das ist uns schon oft in Südtirol, Italien passiert. Bei uns sind die allermeisten Kirchen ganztägig geöffnet, von früh morgens bis spät abends.

There is also a very special grave in the cemetery, the one in Wolkenstein-Rodenegg.
Unfortunately the church was closed. This has happened to us many times in South Tyrol, Italy. Most of our churches are open all day, from early in the morning to late at night.
