Le partiture di Bach per violino solo e per violoncello solo stupendamente eseguite hanno avuto un seguito emozionante con Mozart in un duetto in Sol maggiore per finire con Handdel-Halvorsen di rara maestria esecutiva. Nonostante i molteplici impegni i due artisti hanno voluto rafforzare il loro legame con il territorio regalandoci un'ora di grande intensità emotiva. This evening December 23 at 9 pm hosted Francesca Dego and Jacopo Di Tonno in a Christmas gift program of the Gravedona Musical Chambre Festival which famously offers their performances in August. Bach's scores for solo violin and solo cello beautifully performed had an exciting following with Mozart in a duet in G major to end with Handdel-Halvorsen of rare executive skill. Despite the many commitments the two artists wanted to strengthen their bond with the territory by giving us an hour of great emotional intensity.

On the basis of the surviving portions it is easy to guess the grandeur and beauty of the original Romanesque structure of the eleventh century, which was going to create a monumental complex of all respect together with the adjacent Santa Maria del Tiglio ... unfortunately someone in the seventeenth century thought to be able to do better, demolishing and reconstructing everything ... in fact obtaining an anonymous structure, disproportionate, out of context, and decidedly ugly.

Wonderful church located near the old center and one of the tourist attractions of Gravedona .. There is free parking nearby for those who want to visit. RECOMMENDED !!!
T	Turista non per caso on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ L'edificio sorge nei pressi della chiesa di S.M. del Tiglio e quindi ai più passa quasi in secondo piano, mentre offre degli spunti molto interessanti, specie nella parte inferiore dove è possibile visitare la cripta risalente ad una costruzione paleocristiana del V secolo. The building stands near the church of S.M. del Tiglio and therefore to the majority it almost goes into the background, while it offers some very interesting ideas, especially in the lower part where it is possible to visit the crypt dating back to an early Christian construction of the fifth century.

Risale invece alla seconda metà dell'XI secolo l'edificazione romanica della chiesa. Consacrata nel 1072, nel corso dei secoli ha subito diverse ristrutturazioni e modifiche. L'interno della chiesa è caratterizzato da una sola navata con tre cappelle per lato, ed è abbellito da affreschi, statue, pale d'altare e tele, alcune delle quali raffiguranti scene di vita del Santo. Il portico esterno accoglie l'oratorio di San Michele (a sinistra) e quello di Santa Marta. La sacrestia è arredata con armadi meravigliosamente intagliati e sormontati da statue lignee, mentre la cripta, posta a un livello inferiore, è raggiungibile tramite una scala esterna all'edificio e vi si trovano i resti della precedente costruzione romanica, la cosiddetta "cripta di Sant'Antonio" The parish church of San Vincenzo, dedicated to the patron of Gravedona, stands in correspondence with an ancient pagan sacred area, later occupied by a paleochristian construction of the fifth century of which a section of pavement is still visible in the crypt. The Romanesque construction of the church dates back to the second half of the 11th century. Consecrated in 1072, over the centuries it has undergone several renovations and modifications. The interior of the church is characterized by a single nave with three chapels on each side, and is embellished with frescoes, statues, altarpieces and paintings, some of which depict scenes from the life of the saint. The external porch houses the oratory of San Michele (left) and that of Santa Marta. The sacristy is furnished with wonderfully carved wardrobes and topped with wooden statues, while the crypt, located on a lower level, can be reached via a staircase outside the building and there are the remains of the previous Romanesque construction, the so-called "crypt of Sant 'Antonio "

Interno pulito e ben curato e con orari di apertura molto disponibili. I quattro preti che si alternano per le funzioni e per l'accoglienza sono molto gentili e disponibili all'ascolto.A pochi passi esiste una struttura oratoriale molto ben attrezzata per i giovani e per lo sport. Possibilita' di comodi posteggi a meno di 20 metri dalla chiesa e sopratutto gratuiti.Lasciando in loco l'auto si possono fare belle passeggiate sul lungolago. The parish church of Gravedona is architecturally very beautiful and with the jewel of Santa Maria del Tiglio an excellent example of Romanesque in Altolario. Clean and well-kept interior with very helpful opening hours. The four priests who take turns for the functions and for the reception are very kind and available to listen.A few steps away there is an oratory structure very well equipped for young people and for sport. Possibility of convenient parking less than 20 meters from the church and above all free. Leaving the car on site you can take beautiful walks along the lakefront.
