★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La nuova chiesa di San Vincenzo Ferreri ha sostituito l'ottocentesca cappella preesistente in Borgo Mercato (mercato del bestiame), ed è stata edificata nel 1972 nell'area ex FNET (1956) dall'impresa Franco Borini su progetto dell'architetto Zaffiri.
Al costo dei lavori contribuì anche la popolazione, mentre l'area di oltre 6000 metri quadrati, di proprietà del commendatore Durio, era stata acquistata dall’Opera Diocesana della Preservazione della Fede per interessamento del parroco don Domenico Fornelli.
Sempre dedicata al protettore del borgo e patrono degli edili, conserva in una cappella laterale i ricordi, le immagini e le testimonianze di tempi passati, e don Pier Giorgio Ferrero si occupò anche della sistemazione della casa parrocchiale.
The new church of San Vincenzo Ferreri replaced the pre-existing nineteenth-century chapel in Borgo Mercato (livestock market), and was built in 1972 in the former FNET area (1956) by the Franco Borini company on a project by the architect Zaffiri.
The population also contributed to the cost of the work, while the area of over 6000 square meters, owned by Commendatore Durio, was purchased by the Diocesan Work of the Preservation of the Faith through the interest of the parish priest Don Domenico Fornelli.
Always dedicated to the protector of the village and patron of the building, it preserves in a side chapel the memories, images and testimonies of past times, and Don Pier Giorgio Ferrero also took care of the arrangement of the parish house.
