La chiesa è bella da visitare per scoprirne le bellezze e i tesori che ne fanno la storia e il centro della devozione al loro Patrono per i cittadini di Giarratana. È un esempio di costruzione tardo barocco e la chiesa conserva il corpo della martire Ilaria donato nel 1665 dal papa Alessandro VII
