★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fondata nel 1653 con l' annesso monastero di clausura dell' Ordine di Sant' Agostino, ha una facciata sobria arricchita da un portale in pietra ornato da due semicolonne corinzie che sostengono due sculture.
L' interno è a navata unica con quattro arcate per lato che sostengono altrettante campate formanti la volta, sulla quale sono presenti dipinti di Domenico Carella (1777) tra cui l' Assunzione della Vergine e San Michele Arcangelo.
Di gran pregio la tela dell' Apparizione della Vergine ai Ss. Monica e Agostino di Paolo De Matteis (1709).
Molto ricercata la decorazione interna in stile rococò.
Founded in 1653 with the adjoining cloistered monastery of the Order of Sant 'Agostino, it has a sober facade enriched by a stone portal adorned with two Corinthian half columns supporting two sculptures.
The interior has a single nave with four arches on each side that support the same number of spans forming the vault, on which there are paintings by Domenico Carella (1777) including the Assumption of the Virgin and St. Michael the Archangel.
Of great value is the canvas of the Apparition of the Virgin to Sts. Monica and Agostino by Paolo De Matteis (1709).
The interior decoration in Rococo style is highly sought after.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Belle et surprenante petite église au détour de votre chemin dans le centre ancien. De beaux ornements, des tableaux et murs décorés de façon soignée. Le petit cloître situé à côté se visite également et promet de jolies vues.
Beautiful and surprising little church at the bend of your way in the old center. Beautiful ornaments, neatly decorated paintings and walls. The small cloister located next door can also be visited and promises lovely views.
