La chiesa, sorta sul luogo di una chiesetta dedicata a San Sebastiano, venne edificata per sostituire nelle funzioni l'antica curaziale dei Santi Stefano e Lorenzo sul colle. I lavori iniziarono nel gennaio del 1857 e terminarono nel 1859.
DescrizioneLa chiesa, orientata a nord, è situata al centro del paese e sopraelevata da una scalinata in granito. La facciata, delimitata da due larghe fasce e conclusa da un coronamento inflesso, è caratterizzata da un avancorpo a tempio classico tetrastilo. Ad ovest si innesta il campanile. Internamente, la navata, suddivisa in tre campate con cappelle laterali, è coperta da volte a botte e il presbiterio, rialzato su tre gradini, è voltato a vela e decorato da dipinti.

The church, built on the site of a small church dedicated to San Sebastiano, was built to replace the ancient curaziale of Saints Stefano and Lorenzo on the hill. The works began in January 1857 and ended in 1859.
Description The church, facing north, is located in the center of the village and is raised by a granite staircase. The façade, delimited by two wide bands and concluded by an inflected crowning, is characterized by a tetrastyle classical temple forepart. The bell tower is grafted to the west. Internally, the nave, divided into three bays with side chapels, is covered by barrel vaults and the presbytery, raised on three steps, is vaulted and decorated with paintings.
