★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa dedicata a Santo Stefano protomartire fu costruita nel Settecento a causa dell'incremento demografico della città. Nel 1944 l'esercito tedesco fece saltare la chiesa, di cui si conservò solo il campanile: la ricostruzione terminò due anni più tardi.
La facciata è in blocchi di pietra e vetrate colorate. L'interno è costituito da una grande navata unica coperta da volta a botte ribassata, visibile anche in lontananza dall'esterno; lungo le pareti laterali si possono ammirare affreschi e altari minori. L'abside è decorato con un mosaico azzurro: qui si trova anche un organo a canne.
The church dedicated to Santo Stefano protomartire was built in the eighteenth century due to the population increase of the city. In 1944 the German army blew up the church, of which only the bell tower was preserved: the reconstruction ended two years later.
The facade is in stone blocks and colored windows. The interior consists of a large single nave covered by a lowered barrel vault, visible even in the distance from the outside; along the side walls you can admire frescoes and minor altars. The apse is decorated with a blue mosaic: there is also a pipe organ.
