★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Grande e Magnifica, la Nuova Casa del Signore che i Fedeli di Montegalda vollero innalzare in posizione allora decentrata, per sostituire la storica, ampia ma ben più piccola Pieve, a tutt'oggi esistente, con lo snello campanile cuspidato che fa il paio con quello, vicinissimo e simile, di Montegaldella. Vuota la cella campanaria: i Sacri Bronzi furono trasferiti nell'arditissimo Campanile della nuova imponente e capientissima Arcipretale. Campanile tra i più alti della Diocesi di Padova, cui afferisce Montegalda. Lo si vede da km di distanza. L'interno della Grande Arcipretale Nuova è a una sola navata, ma alta, larga e ben lunga, con l'ampio spazio presbiterale e l'abside semicircolare che lo prolunga: fantastica la decorazione pittorica, recentissima, di Presbiterio e Abside interni. Una delizia per gli occhi. Tutto questo considerato, domando al Vescovo di Padova, Monsignor Claudio Cipolla, di concedere alla grandiosa e bellissima Arcipretale Nuova di Montegalda il titolo insignissimo di DUOMO.
